Bio:
Before arriving at 爆走黑料, I taught math and computer science at The Hartsbook School in Hadley, MA. I hold a BS in physics from Duke University, an MTS from Harvard Divinity School, and an MS in computer science from UMass Amherst where my area of research was a branch of AI known as Multi-Agent Systems. Prior to teaching, I worked as a freelance programmer and data scientist while also serving as a managing partner of a golf club in NJ.
Education:
B.S., Duke University; MTS, Harvard Divinity School; M.S., UMass Amherst
Academic Interests:
I enjoy math, physics, and computer science for the problems they help solve and the insights they provide into how the world works. I am also fascinated by the history of the development of calculus from its first glimmers in the thoughts of ancient Greeks such as Archimedes to the foundational insights of folks like Newton and Leibniz to the contributions of more modern mathematicians. When not teaching, I can be found playing bass in a Brazilian band or on my road bike enjoying the spectacular cycling available in Western Mass.
Fun fact:
I took my first ballet class during the summer of 2026. As a complete beginner, I found remembering combinations to be way harder than calculus.
