Members meet on the third Monday of the month at 7.30pm in Kyneton Football club rooms (beside Grandstand) Showgrounds, Mollison St, Kyneton. The KHS members share knowledge, skills and even plants from other members. Invariably there are monthly guest speakers and afterwards a light supper is enjoyed.

There are periodical visits to gardens in Victoria and the KHS has affiliation with other important societies to the wider world of gardening expertise. There are two flower shows each year; Autumn and Spring respectively and anyone is welcome to participate.
